Our early days began in the
1980’s at First Baptist Church of Ft. Lauderdale,
Florida where our Founder, Dr. Stephan B.
Tchividjian began Life Management. In those early days, the focus was on Life
Management Training for Small Groups.
Many individuals were impacted by the
life-changing experiences they encountered as we provided a safe and
confidential place to share their burdens and openly talk about their life
issues. In 1991 Dr. Denny Williams joined the life management team. Life Management Ministries was incorporated in the State of
Florida and remains a qualified 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, supported by the
generousgifts of many churches, businesses, individuals and foundations.
Recent reports indicate that local pastors
provide over 75% of all counseling done in America. Wow! It is our desire
to be an extension of the local church by sharing the burden of counseling and
help pastors train others in sharing the work of ministry.
Since all of us are a product of our past to some degree, counseling helps us look back at our life and the decisions we have made to better understand where we currently are so we can change our fute course of direction. When facing
